Welcome to Bob Caldwell Automotive North

In 1950 Ruth Ann Caldwell encouraged her husband Bob to follow his dreams.  Later that year Bob Caldwell Used Cars was created.  The slogan “Where High Street bends, your car worries end” was marketed to bring Quality Used cars from all areas of the country to Columbus patrons.  Every week Bob would take a train to Michigan, walked into the auction and asked the auction’s manager what are the nicest vehicles running today.  Without hesitation, those were the vehicles that traveled to Columbus that week.  After 16 years of success selling quality Used vehicles Bob Caldwell was approached by Chrysler to open a Franchise on Morse Road.  He did so in November 1967 and the same building and lot still stands and remains family owned and operated today.  Fast forward to modern day, Bob’s 3 daughters are current owners and in honor to Bob’s start in the automotive business opened an ancillary Pre-Owned Operation located at 2300 East Dublin Granville Rd.  We all support Bob’s dreams and want to preserve the same values and drive that Bob Caldwell successfully executed throughout his career.
